We are seeking a versatile and highly skilled Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist to oversee our complete operational pipeline. This critical role bridges the gap between strategic sourcing, international trade, and physical inventory management. A core responsibility will be managing BOI (Board of Investment) privileges, ensuring full compliance with customs laws while maximizing import/export tax incentives.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in global logistics, sharp negotiation skills for procurement, and the hands-on capability to optimize warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
1. BOI & Import-Export Compliance
• BOI Management: Serve as the primary window for all Board of Investment (BOI) applications, formulas, cutting/clearing of raw materials, and machinery privileges. Ensure full compliance with BOI regulations to maximize tax exemptions and privileges.
• Import & Export and Customs Clearance: Prepare, review, and manage all shipping documentation (e.g., Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin) for smooth import/export clearance.
• Regulatory Liaison: Coordinate closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to resolve any shipping delays, tariff classifications, or compliance audits.
2. Free Zone (FZ) License & Privilege Management
• Privilege Utilization: Manage and maintain the company’s Free Zone license and associated privileges. Ensure all inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods maximize duty-free and tax-exempt status.
• FZ Customs & Inventory Alignment: Oversee the strict segregation and tracking of Free Zone cargo versus domestic stock within the warehouse. Ensure zero commingling of duty-suspended items.
• Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit mandatory periodic reports (e.g inventory balance reports, scrap/waste destruction approvals, and raw material utilization sheets) required by Free Zone authorities and Customs.
• Zone Compliance & Audit Auditing: Act as the main point of contact for Free Zone authority officers during routine site inspections or compliance audits. Ensure the facility operates fully within Zone guidelines.
3. Strategic Procurement
• Purchase Order (PO) Management: Issue and track POs based on material requirement planning (MRP). Ensure vendors strictly adhere to agreed lead times and quality standards.
• Supplier Performance: Conduct regular vendor evaluations using KPIs such as on-time delivery (OTD) and quality defect rates.
4. Logistics & Warehouse Operations
• Warehouse Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, material inspection, storage optimization, and dispatching.
• Inventory Control: Lead regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits to maintain high inventory accuracy. Manage optimal safety stock levels to prevent stockouts while reducing carrying costs.
• Freight Optimization: Partner with third-party logistics (3PL) and freight forwarders to optimize domestic and international shipping routes, reducing lead times and transportation spend
